My Story

I can’t think of a writer I know who likes writing about themselves, myself included. We hate it almost as much as getting our pictures taken! I write fiction, and romance at that. I like living in my head where everything works out for the best and no one leaves their socks on the floor for someone else to clean up. I mean if you want cold hard reality, I’ve got scientific papers to my credit but no one wants to read them unless they have to.

I’ve been writing and publishing since 2010, which seems like forever ago. In the publishing world, it kind of is. I took a few years off when my life sort of fell apart, but I’m back now and in that time I realized just how much I missed it! There are still things I’m lousy at, Marketing for instance but I’m getting better at paying people who do those things better than me and focusing on what I can do well. So maybe a little wisdom snuck in when I wasn’t writing too.

I hope you’ll join me in falling in love with the people in my head. They are an awful lot of fun! Oh, and the landscapes you’ll see throughout the website are from the river I used to live on, it is still pretty close and is one of my favorite places.
